What we are doing
We want to know if children and young people with learning disabilities and with autism are given more antipsychotics or more anti-depressants than other children.
We will look at the health problems children with learning disabilities and children with autism who take psychotropic medicines have.

How we will do it
We will take information from Scotland's pupil census and from prescription records for the years 2009 - 2013.
We will compare the prescriptions between children and young people with learning disabilities (or autism) to those without learning disabilities (or autism).
