This project looks the mental health of mothers of people with learning disabilities.

What we are doing

This project looks at the mental health of mothers of people with learning disabilities.

We will find out if their mental health is better or worse than other mothers and other women.

We also want to find out what causes poor mental health in mothers of people with learning disabilities.

How we will do it 

We will look at how good or bad mothers of people with learning disabilities say their health is.

We will look at the drugs that they take.

We will find out if they go to hospital more often than other mothers and other women.

Information from this project will help professionals to support mothers of people with learning disabilities.
