Using information collected in Primary Care
We are working with NHS National Services Scotland to look at information collected by doctors in GP surgeries.
What this project is about
SPIRE stands for Scottish Primary Care Information Resource.
SPIRE is a way of using patient records that are kept on GP computers.
This information can be useful for research and service planning.
What we will do
We will look at the health conditions that people with learning disabilities and autism have.
We will look at the care people with learning disabilities and autism get.
We will compare this to the health and care of other people.
What we will do next
We will share the information we find with doctors to help them deliver good care to people with learning disabilities and autism.
We will write a report about the findings.
