Causes of death in children with learning disabilities and autism

 

We want to find out more about the causes of death for children with learning disabilities and autism.

What we will do

We will look at the information from all primary, secondary and special schools and records of all deaths in Scotland.

 

We will use this information to find out how many children with learning disabilities and autism die compared to other children.

We will also look at the main causes of death in children with learning disabilities and children with autism.

What we will do next

We will write a report about what we have found and share it with people who are responsible for good healthcare for children with learning disabilities and autism.
