We wanted to find out if there are any differences in mental health between people with learning disabilities and other people.

This project looked at information about people who were staying in mental health hospitals in 2014 and 2016.

What we found

People with learning disabilities stayed in mental health hospitals longer than other people.

People with learning disabilities were more likely to have some types of mental health problems than other people.
